How do we acknowledge the past and how do we show our evolution beyond it? This project is located along Colfax in Denver, a previously celebrated road that became an example of urban blight as the car rose to popularity. What was once known as the “Vegas Strip of Denver” became home to fast food and liquor stores. Fortunately, Denver is investing heavily in the revitalization of Colfax. It is inevitable that Colfax will return to its glory days soon.
