Theory + Design

Ian's approach to design combines a deep love for theory with a ruthless focus on reality. He believes that architecture's fundamental role is to serve people and seeks to blend centuries of architectural thinking into contemporary practice in a way that allows everyone to live in a place they consider beautiful.

To achieve this, Ian is experimenting with a mindful evolution of structural expressionism as a way to bring about this beauty without increasing the material cost of architecture.
